HOW DO I GIVE MY CLOTHES TO KiDS?

  • 1. SCHEDULE A FREE BAG PICK UP

    To give to KDS the clothes your children no longer need, simply schedule a free bag pick by selecting either the SELL or DONATE buttons.

    Tell us:

    i) Whether you want to Sell or Donate your children’s clothes or a mix of the two options

    ii) Whether you wish to opt in to our Rest Assured Return Service. This option enables you to have your items returned in the event they don’t meet our quality criteria or remain unsold.

    iii) When you want the bag to be collected

    Remember to include all the information to be receive your proceeds or donate them

  • 2. FILL UP A DISPOSABLE BAG

    Fill up the bag with unworn or like-new children’s designer clothes. Ensure all items are freshly washed and pack them neatly in a disposable bag. Include the printed online form complete with all the required details (including name, email, and PayPal address) and place it in the bag with the items you are selling or donating. While there is no minimum requirement in terms of the number of items you can sell, we do recommend that you include at least three to five items to maximise efficiency and reduce your environmental footprint (more pick-ups incur more driving and unnecessary costs). Be selective and remember only to send items  that meet our requirements and of the Brands KiDS Accepts.

  • 3. HOME PICKUP OR DROP-OFF AT COLLECTION POINTS

    Please make sure someone is at the address provided at the scheduled time to give the bag for collection. Ensure that inside the bag you have included the form with your details. :

IT REALLY IS THAT EASY!

Unsure whether to Sell or Donate?

Prepare two disposable soft bags, and pack the charity donations separate from the items you wish to sell for your own benefit. Click on the SELL button from the KDS website homepage, and schedule a day and time for the collection. Print the SELL  form that will automatically download on your computer and include it with all your details (name/email/PayPal address) in the bags of items you want to sell. Then, click the button DONATE and schedule another bag pickup, for the same day. Place both bags in a larger bag so we only collect one large bag. CONTACT US at sales@kidsdresssmart.com to let us know we need to collect only one bag; confirm your preferred slot (as you had booked two). If you have chosen the Rest Assured Return Service, include the relevant insurance fee (HK$50 or HK$100 depending on the service) in an envelope (cheque or cash) in the bag for the items you would like to insure.

If you have multiple bags, please contact us directly at info@kds.com.hk or by phone and we can arrange a special pick-up.

Rest Assured Return Service (HK$50)

Select this option if you would like your items returned in case they don't meet our quality criteria or remain unsold

 

KDS can't guarantee to accept or be able to sell all the items you send us. For a small fee, we can arrange to send back any unsold garments if you opt-in to our Rest Assured Return Service:

  • The cost to have items returned is HK$50 per bag and covers shipping and handling
  • This fee may be taken out of the proceeds from the items that are sold
  • Items that do not meet KDS standards or remain unsold for more than 180 days will be returned after this period
  • Returned items will be sent to the mailing address provided when you register

  • Designer clothes of the brands KDS accepts 
  • Items with identifiable brand and sizing information
  • New items with tags (NWT) that meet our criteria
  • Clothing-related accessories like hats, scarves, mittens
  • Babies and children's outfits
  • Fashionable items 
  • DON'T SEND US
  • Clothing that shows clear signs of wear like rips, tears, stains, piling, fading, shrinkage, etc.,
  • Smelly, dirty clothes
  • Clothing from discount brands
  • Items with missing labels
  • Homemade/altered items and discount local brand clothing
  • Non-clothing items like toys, books, purses
  • Undergarments and used socks
  • Non-original branded items i.e., copies/fakes

It’s simple: If we cannot confirm the authenticity of the branded items, we will not offer them for sale on KDS. If any item purchased from KDS is found to be counterfeit, we will offer a full refund.

We accept clothes from prestigious classic fashion labels like Armani, Burberry, Dior, Prada, Ralph Lauren; children’s specialist brands like Bonpoint, Jacadi, Il Gufo, and Seed; and all other contemporary designers such as Stella McCartney, DKNY; brands that are synonymous with high-end kids’ fashion.

KDS donates 10% of the proceeds of every sale directly to children’s charities like Room to Read, Unicef, Operation Smile and many more. You can choose to donate your share of the proceeds too and your contribution is added to ours. When you send us your clothes, simply select from the many Charities we support which you would like to receive the proceeds. In this way up to 60% of every sale is given to support children’s charities around the world, and together we become part of a wider social project.
